UET Teams participating in Dbfc-6

Two Uet Teams are partcipating in the National Design Bulid and Fly competetion Helding in Swabi by the Sponsorship of AIAA( American Institue of Aeronatics and Astraunautics).

Student teams will design, fabricate, and demonstrate the flight capabilities of an unmanned electric/engine powered, radio controlled aircraft that can best meet the specified mission profile. The goal is to make a balanced design that possesses good flight handling qualities and must be practical and affordable.

1) Royal Mirage

All of them are the students of 2008 Mechanical at UET. They are designing and fabricating Engine powered aeroplane for UET Lahore.

Suicide Comitted in Mumtaz Hall

Suicide is committed by a student named " Siffat Ali " of Mechanical Department ,Session 08 , Section B in the mumtaz hall ,room no 66 ,first floor . May ALLAH bless his soul in heaven . Senior warden came on the spot . There was a great rush infront of the Mumtaz Hall. Vice President himself came to the spot and after seeing the dead body , he addressed to the students that they must take care of each other . If there is some financial problem then tell us , we are not forcing you to pay the fee on time , you can pay it in installments or can also pay after having the job . So nice of him .

Brainiac by UET ACM

BRAINIAC is the pioneer event of the year for UET-ACM Student Chapter from the very beginning of session 2009-2010, there has been a trend of organizing Coding competition by UET-ACM. Now, due to the massive support that UET-ACM enjoys among the administrative body of university, we are adding a new dimension to the co...mpetition that will be followed and expanded over the years. Teams from the different universities of Lahore are going to take part in this event

It’s a two day event. On 1st day there will be a workshops and competition and on 2nd day there will be two competitions and a workshop.
