LAHORE - The syndicate of the University of Engineering and Technology has approved the annual budget for the year 2011-12.
In its meeting held in its meeting held here on Saturday, the total income for the recurring budget of 2011-12 is estimated to be Rs 2,090 million while the expenditure has been estimated to be Rs 2,262 million with a deficit of Rs 172 million.
Out of this budget, a sum of Rs 846 million has been allocated for teaching and research, Rs 120 million for Kala Shah Kaku campus, Rs 120 million for Faisalabad Campus and Rs 59 million for RCET, Gujranwala. A development budget of Rs 692 million has been passed for various campuses of UET, Lahore.
