LAHORE - A judicial magistrate handed over three accused to Anti-Corruption Establishment after extending their three-day physical remand allegedly involved in leaking out the entrance test paper of University of Engineering and Technology (UET).
The ACE produced the accused Ashraf, Anees and Shuja Uddin before the judicial magistrate Khalid Saeed Watto and requested it for 12-day physical remand but the Magistrate extended the remand for only three days. Earlier, the court handed over the accused to Anti-Terrorism Court on two-day physical remand. ACE officials informed the court that they are yet to recover money, computers and others essentials from the accused party. The counsel of Shuja Uddin told the court that his client was running internet café and he has nothing to do with paper leaking case.
The judge after hearing remarks from both sides extended three-day physical remand of the accused and handed them over to ACE for purpose of investigation.
