Procedure to apply For B.Sc Engineering
- Application form shall be filled online by logging onto http://admission.uet.edu.pk/.
- The printout of filled application alongwith the documents as detailed in the prospectus shall be submitted in the Admission Cell (Administration Block), University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore on working days (Fridays 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon, other days 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.). On the last day i.e. 4-10-2012, applications will be received up to 4:00 p.m.
- Applications submitted via Post/Courier will NOT be accepted.
- Last date to submit applications: Thursday 4th October 2012

Remand of UET’s 3 paper leakage accused extended
LAHORE - A judicial magistrate handed over three accused to Anti-Corruption Establishment after extending their three-day physical remand allegedly involved in leaking out the entrance test paper of University of Engineering and Technology (UET).
The ACE produced the accused Ashraf, Anees and Shuja Uddin before the judicial magistrate Khalid Saeed Watto and requested it for 12-day physical remand but the Magistrate extended the remand for only three days. Earlier, the court handed over the accused to Anti-Terrorism Court on two-day physical remand. ACE officials informed the court that they are yet to recover money, computers and others essentials from the accused party. The counsel of Shuja Uddin told the court that his client was running internet café and he has nothing to do with paper leaking case.
The judge after hearing remarks from both sides extended three-day physical remand of the accused and handed them over to ACE for purpose of investigation.

Persons of UET entry test’s paper stealing arrested
During the primary investigation, the committee has held accountable Anees, an employee of UET, and his companion Shaja Zaidi, a net cafe owner. Mughalpura police registered a report and arrested both accused. According to the police, investigation can provide additional information.

UET budget approved

LAHORE - The syndicate of the University of Engineering and Technology has approved the annual budget for the year 2011-12.
In its meeting held in its meeting held here on Saturday, the total income for the recurring budget of 2011-12 is estimated to be Rs 2,090 million while the expenditure has been estimated to be Rs 2,262 million with a deficit of Rs 172 million.
Out of this budget, a sum of Rs 846 million has been allocated for teaching and research, Rs 120 million for Kala Shah Kaku campus, Rs 120 million for Faisalabad Campus and Rs 59 million for RCET, Gujranwala. A development budget of Rs 692 million has been passed for various campuses of UET, Lahore.

UET Lahore Admission
The main campus of the University of Engineering and Technology is located in the north of Lahore, in the way of the historical log splendid 'near the gardens of Shalimar built around the great Mughal Empire.
The institution launched his career in 1921 as the "Mughalpura Technical College. It later became the 'Maclagan Engineering College," a name given to it in 1923 when Sir Edwards Maclagan, the then Governor of Punjab, who laid the stone base of the main building, now called the main block, which still retains its grandeur despite the wear of more than eight decades. At that time the organization offering study courses in two disciplines, Electrical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering.
In 1932, the organization was attached with the Punjab University for the honor of a Bachelor of Engineering. In 1947, at the time of freedom, the institution was the contribution of well-recognized undergraduate degree in civil engineering, electrical and mechanical.
In 1954, during a course of Bachelor of Mining Engineering, the first of its kind in the country. However, the real growth and development of the partnership began in 1961 for conversion to the "West Pakistan University of Engineering and Technology, and within a few years of high school courses were initiated in Chemical Engineering, Oil & Gas Engineering, Engineering Metallurgical and local Architecture and City Planning.
With a dramatic increase in enrollment of students in the seventies, the University established a School of Engineering Taxila in 1975, later became an independent university in 1978 as the University of Engineering and Technology, Taxila.
Given the energy crisis coming in the country, in 2004 the University created its own power generation unit for 2 Mega Watts and became the first and only educational institution across the country with its Unit itself Power Generation Today, the University is developing three more campuses, the Campus of Faisalabad, the Camus Kala-Shah-Kaku, and Rachna College.

Due to the changeing season, all classes timing will be from 7:30am to 3:30pm from next week 18:10:2010. Buses will leave the bus stand on 3:45pm except friday. Friday routes exiting time will be 12:45pm. Lectures duration will remain the same. Details are as:
